Real Estate agency work is a career that brings in good profits. It demands credibility therefore many rules were formed to determine who may receive a Real Estate Agent license.

Laws define commission rates that agents are allowed to receive from each side in the deal and how to work with taxation and property contracts and with the seller and the buyer.  

 

·        Tools for efficient Real Estate work – studies and receipt of a certificate will ensure increased profits from the profession and professional mediation in Real Estate deals to bring them to a positive close for both sides.

 

 

 

 

 

 

The agent in the Real Estate business has much responsibility towards the seller and the buyer. Large sums of money are involved. The law determines several criteria for receipt of a license:

 

·        The individual desiring to gain a Real Estate license must be above 18 years of age.

 

·        The individual must be a citizen or resident of the state of Israel. A non-citizen may gain a license if he has a work permit to work in Israel.

 

·        The individual desiring a Real Estate license must be without criminal charges against him or discredit in the past five years prior to application for the license. An individual who has been incarcerated during the three years prior to application is also unable to receive a license.

 

·        Following the close of the course all students take the examination. Success is important and an important condition for receipt of the license. 60% is a pass.

 

Participation in the course is not compulsory for receipt of a license but it is most advantageous for acquiring relevant knowledge for success in the examination.
